A urban wild turky in Cambridge,MA

My Aunt lives in a large red brick apartment building close to Harvard Law School and the garden next door has become  a wild turkey's home for the Winter. It walks around in the garden and stands on the porch looking in through the glass doors. I belive that he can see his own reflection in the glass and thinks "Hey how you Doing! Who's that handsome wild turkey looking right at me".Well, that is just my theory about why he is starring through the glass doors most of the day. At night he flies up in one of the trees and sleep.
One morning when we were going out the back door, heading out to do som shopping the wild turkey had jumped over the fence and stood right out side of our back door. We went carefully out the door and followed him  down the street where he stopped to have som red berries for breakfast. I tried to get as close to him as possible to get a  good shot of him, when he turned on me and I ran and hide behind the nearest car. I was certainly not having this large bird flying strait into my arms. I who usually are not scared of birds turned chicken on the situation. While my Aunt who from early childhood has been terrified of birds wanted me to get a photo of her beside the wild turkey. Unfortunatly the turkey turned on me before I was able to take the photo. What a funny world we live in.

My great kitchen helper

I got this amazing creation from Eva Solo, DK for Christmas. This drip free oil and vinegar bottle is one of the most practical gifts I ever have recived. The drip free spout  spare my kitchen for a lot of oily spill. I get my mct-oil from the pharmacy in the most ridiciulous bottle that drip and spill oil like a leaking faucet. This fantastic creation from Eva Solo makes it fun to work in the kitchen. I am also blessed with a water carafe from Eva Solo that I just love. Eva Solo is a modern Danish design that I think everone should at least have one product of in their kitchen.

My favorite Christmas present

I got a lot of great presents this year, every thing from tickets to the Nutcracker, jeans, North face fleece
jacket, napkins with the cutest patterns, an ice scraper for my car, cosmetics to a water carafe, but I must say that my favorite presents was home knittet fingerless mittens. One of my friends mother is a wizard with her nitting needles. In a wif she nitted these nice and warm wrist warmers for me and wrapped them to put them under the christmas tree. I love this nostalgic pattern and black and grey can be used with almost every shades of color. These wrist warmers will definitely keeep me warm and comfortable through out the winter that has startet strong and cold this year.
